• Seller will email info@skatingmarketplace.com with up to 4 photos and short detailed descriptions of items to be listed for sale in the marketplace. Photos must be in jpeg or gif format and attached to the email as separate files.  Please be sure to spell check item description and list as many details as possible.

 

  • Skating Marketplace's low cost fees are based on membership selection.  Please see Membership Options for more information.  Seller's items will remain posted up to one year or until item is sold or requested to be removed from seller.  Skating Marketplace does NOT charge relisting fees, seller fees or have minimum/maximum requirements.  A confirmation email will be sent to seller once item has been listed in the marketplace.  Please allow 2 business days.

 

  • Seller must send quality pictures of items to be listed in the marketplace to info@skatingmarketplace.com. Seller must post at least one picture of each item, but cannot post more than four per item. Pictures should show detail and different sides of the items. Be sure to post pictures that show how you would like to see as a buyer.  Skating Marketplace does NOT charge picture fees. 

 

  • Seller must also include a short description of the items for sale. This should include as much detailed information as possible.  Please be honest and list any flaws to avoid unhappy buyers.

 

  • Seller's items will be listed until sold, requested to be removed from the site, or up to a maximum of one year, whichever comes first.  Seller can request items to be removed.  Skating Marketplace does NOT charge seller fees, therefore, we do NOT take a percentage of what seller makes when items sell.  Payment process of items is completely between buyer and seller.   

 

  • Once a buyer contacts Skating Marketplace to purchase a seller's item, the seller will then be notified by email with the item number and the buyer's email address.

 

  • It is then seller's responsibility to contact buyer and arrange for payment from and shipping to the buyer.

 

  • Sellers are responsible for creating a Return Policy for their items. Please make this policy known to the buyer to avoid problems.

 

  • After each transaction is complete Skating Marketplace requests that seller notifies Skating Marketplace with the item number of sold item. This is to assure that items are marked as SOLD on the site. It is very important that sellers remember to complete this step as it is very hard to keep track of sold items if Skating Marketplace is not notified.

 

  • Please leave feedback on the Reviews / Feedback page so that others can read about experiences with Skating Marketplace. This helps to add to the credibility of Skating Marketplace and is important for potential buyers and sellers.

 

  • Another very important part of selling on this site, is communication!  Skating Marketplace will contact sellers periodically by email with questions and potential buyers for items listed.  If sellers change email addresses or do not check email frequently Skating Marketplace cannot contact sellers with sale information. Please notify of email address changes immediately.  Thank you.
